The candidate is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE). He was appointed Chief Executive Officer and President in 2016 and Chairman in 2017. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions with the company, including Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2013 to 2015, Senior Regional Executive Vice President from 2011 to 2013, and Executive Vice President – Midwest region from 2003 to 2010. Prior to joining Duke Realty Corp. in 1998, the candidate held numerous executive and brokerage positions with Cushman & Wakefield, most recently serving as Senior Managing Director for the Midwest area. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Mr. Conner is also a member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and the Real Estate Round Table.
