The candidate, as Prologis’ (NYSE: PLD) Chief Executive Officer of the Americas, oversees all aspects of Prologis’ business in the US, Canada and Latin America. The US is the company’s largest market, home to about 1,430 of its 1,607 properties. The Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil) account for roughly 85% of the REIT’s revenue. He joined AMB Property Corporation, Prologis’ predecessor, in 2003 and has more than three decades of experience in real property investment, management and operations throughout the Americas. Prior to joining AMB, the candidate was Chief Investment Officer of Cabot Properties, Inc., a private equity industrial real estate firm in which he served as a founding partner and member of its Investment Committee and Board of Directors. He served with Cabot and its predecessor companies, including Cabot Industrial Trust, for 11 years. The candidate has served on the Board of Directors of Grupo Acción, SA de CV, a leading development company in Mexico, and recently served on the Board of Directors of Strategic Hotels and Resorts, Inc. (formerly NYSE: BEE), a publicly-traded real estate investment trust recently acquired by the Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX). He is a member of the Urban Land Institute as well as a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he is past Chairman. The candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College.
