The candidate is the Chief Executive Officer of Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH). Prior to this he had been Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Waypoint Homes (NYSE: SFR) since January 2016 and a member of the Board Directors of the company since March 2017. Prior to this, the candidate was Executive Vice President and President—Property Management for Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), which he joined in 1994. He also past served as President of Residential Asset Management Group. Throughout his 35-year career, the candidate has served on numerous multi-family industry Boards, including the National Multi-Housing Council, California Housing Council, California Apartment Association and the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate. Since September 2014, the candidate also serves as an Independent Director of Tejon Ranch Co. (NYSE: TRC). He is a graduate of Georgia State University, with degrees in Business Information Systems and an MBA.
