Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace is good for business.

Ferguson Partners is committed to DEI and to the hiring of diverse talent, within our organization and those of our clients. In 2021, 40% of all global searches resulted in diverse placements, an increase of 5% from the previous year and demonstrated consecutive growth in diverse placements over the past five years. We recognize the unlimited cultural benefits and business results diverse talent brings to an organization—ours and those we serve.

Research clearly shows that business environments that embrace diversity — gender, ethnic, and cultural — demonstrate deeper engagement, increased innovation and greater financial success. Why? Diversity generates more opportunities to tap into a myriad of viewpoints and perspectives, creating better experiences for customers, culture for employees, and outcomes for investors.

A historically male-dominated field that even in recent decades saw few women involved in the business, real assets companies today still struggle with diversity when it comes to the profiles of future leaders in line for succession to the top roles – a disappointingly small number.

All companies today that wish to remain competitive need to immediately, frankly address their barriers to diversity in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent. This critical conversation needs to begin at the Board and C-Suite levels, and not be designated solely to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Our commitment to diversity, relationships with leading, diverse candidates across the global real assets, hospitality, and healthcare services industries, and track record of placing diverse talent makes Ferguson Partners the right diversity partner for you.

Each year, our percentage of diverse placements sees an increase.
