John Boland

John Boland is an Associate at Ferguson Partners based in the Chicago office. He specializes in advising privately held real estate companies on assessing compensation programs and crafting new compensation plans.

Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, John worked at Waud Capital Partners with a focus on software and technology research. Before Waud, John worked as a Consultant at Meridian Compensation Partners where his work included executive and director compensation benchmarking, peer group design, analysis of short and long-term incentives, assessment of severance terms, and calculating share dilution and run rate.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, studying Finance. Outside of work, John enjoys cooking, snowboarding, playing basketball, and supporting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
