Julia Ares is a Senior Associate of Leadership Consulting, where she partners with clients to enhance effectiveness at the individual, team, and organizational levels. With a strong foundation in leadership development, she supports clients through tailored advisory solutions that foster growth, strengthen leadership capabilities, and drive strategic impact.

Julia brings specialized expertise in instructional design, developing scalable learning experiences that are both engaging and grounded in adult learning theory. Her work includes creating custom training programs, co-facilitating interactive workshops, and supporting leadership development initiatives aligned to business strategy.

In her advisory work, she leverages data from psychometric assessments and stakeholder input to uncover patterns in leadership behavior, team dynamics, and organizational culture. Her analysis informs targeted recommendations that enable clients to lead more effectively and foster stronger, more aligned organizations.

Prior to her current role, Julia worked in academic support services, where she coached and mentored academically at-risk student-athletes. Julia earned her MBA in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington. She holds certifications in the Hogan Assessments and Insights Discovery tools. Julia is based in Chicago.
