Lucy Bertsch is a Senior Director in the Compensation Consulting group at Ferguson Partners. Ms. Bertsch works with privately held real estate platforms to develop compensation solutions that align interests, emphasize performance and results, and attract, motivate, and retain key employees. She specializes in benchmarking compensation levels and developing incentive plan arrangements, including annual bonus plans, long-term incentives, and carried interest programs. In this capacity, Ms. Bertsch serves as a key adviser to C-Suite executives, owners, Board members, and other key stakeholders.
Ms. Bertsch’s work spans all asset classes and types of real estate firms (e.g., investment managers, private equity investors, developers, owner/operators, family offices/family-owned firms). During her tenure at Ferguson Partners, Ms. Bertsch has worked on 100+ compensation projects for real estate firms. Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, Ms. Bertsch worked at Deloitte in a variety of roles in Chicago, IL and Washington, DC.
Ms. Bertsch earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human & Organizational Development and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Georgetown University.
