Mark J. Duncan is an Associate in Ferguson Partners’ Innovation + Technology practice, based in the firm’s New York office. Mark’s position merges his expansive knowledge of technology roles and hiring trends with his more than 12 years of experience serving clients in a multitude of industries. Mark specializes in coordinating and executing searches for high-level technologists, such as Chief Technology Officers and Chief Information Officers, as well as senior data, research, and product roles. He also contributes to drafting and editing thought pieces for the Innovation + Technology practice.
Prior to joining Ferguson Partners, Mark spent three years with Spencer Stuart as a member of the Corporate Communications and Chief Marketing Officer practices, facilitating the completion of high-level search mandates for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to leaders in the media and technology space, to major consumer brands. Before beginning his career in executive search, Mark worked for a variety of organizations, including the 92nd Street Y, a New York-based cultural and community center; the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, a national theatrical labor union; and TowerBrook Capital Partners, a global investment management firm. Throughout his career, Mark has earned recognition for his efficient and personable customer service.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Elon University in North Carolina. When he is not working, Mark enjoys cooking, reading and going to the theatre.
